BACKWARDS COUNTING

In our Maths Knowledge session, we are working on BACKWARDS COUNTING.  This comes in really handy when we are subtracting in Maths.

You can help us at home by asking us:

• Practice counting down from 20, then 30, then 40 etc
• What number comes BEFORE any given number
• Skip counting BACKWARDS from 100 in 10s, and 5s ( a lot of us find this tricky)
