EXPLANATIONS

In Mrs Lunn's Literacy Group we have just started learning about how to write explanations.  Come and have a read of our first attempts trying to explain this picture...

One day I was in mu car and I saw a motorbike.  It was making a skid.  Ducks saw the skid.  One duck sat at the end of the skid.

I think that the duck turned into a motorbike and he had left a black rubbery skid mark.  Then he turned back in to a duck at the back of the skid.

I think a duck flew on a unicycle.  It flipped on a skid mark and at the end of the mark, one duck came.

I think the duck is a motorcycle.  Maybe the duck is a robot instead of a motorbike.  Or a man made a duck robot or maybe a real duck made the skid made.
