Nga Matapono is our Beliefs at Riverdale School. By the time we leave Riverdale, we should be a Self Manager, Competent, Creative, and Effective CommunicatorThis term's main focus is on being a Self Manager. We get to move our pins for a variety of reasons. Some examples of what we might get to move our pin for include: getting our jobs done quickly in the morning, pack up after ourselves, get our work done quickly, listen carefully to the teacher and put our rubbish in the bin.
Jacob P got to move his Self Manager pin yesterday when he was tidying up after he finished using a game. Look how happy he is!
We like to look at where we are on our pins. We set ourselves little goals and talk to our friends about where we are at. Setting goals and working towards achieving them is part of being a Self Manager.
